Fentanyl, Crack Cocaine Seized From Apartment In Hudson Valley, 4 Nabbed: Police

A months-long drug investigation led to a raid at a Dutchess County apartment, where authorities seized suspected fentanyl, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia, police announced.

A search warrant was executed on Friday, Feb. 21 at 26 Pershing Ave., Apartment No. 2 in Poughkeepsie by the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department following community complaints about drug activity and other quality-of-life concerns, authorities said.

The search led to the seizure of: 

  • Suspected fentanyl and crack cocaine;
  • Packaging materials and scales;
  • Drug paraphernalia;
  • An unspecified amount of cash.

Four individuals were taken into custody at the scene, though police have not yet released their names. Charges are pending, and the investigation remains ongoing.
